Pushpanjalii Organisation is a non-profit organization that is both dedicated to fighting child prostitution, second-generation prostitution, and sex trafficking in Northern India, and to achieving freedom worldwide.
Pushpanjalii NGO organization that works towards fighting the sexual exploitation of women and children, chiefly dealing with forced prostitution and sex trafficking, which has further become severe and complicated due to sex tourism and the spread of HIV/AIDS. Our NGO Main mission is to eradicate the forced prostitution racket while rescuing the unfortunate victims of the event. Forced prostitution often leads to situations of forced sex labor, which in turn, signifies unheard cases of child sexual abuse, child rape, sexual assault, molestation, and rape.
ACTIVITIES HIGHLIGHTS
Our NGO Pushpanjalii the main mission is various interventions regarding prevention, protection, prosecution, and rehabilitation we strive towards providing a safe haven for the victims of the flesh trade by helping them rebuild their lives.
1. Community Mobilization
Pushpanjalii NGO believes that to achieve sustainability for both the survivors and this movement against child trafficking and sexual exploitation, we need peoplesâ ownership and participation at source, transit, and destination levels while dealing with the issue of slavery.
2. Campaigns In Schools
Pushpanjalii NGOs help Children, being the youngest section of the society, are easiest to mold and make the best messengers of social issues. By making the children aware, we also create awareness in their families and neighbors about trafficking and exploitation.
3.Legal Interventions
Pushpanjalii NGOs have taken legal action thereby breaking up the criminal nexus through bail rejections of traffickers, victim/witness protection, mock trials, opposing custody of victims, brothel seizures, and convictions, etc.
4.Bal Kendra
In order to prevent second-generation prostitution, Pushpanjalii NGOs works towards providing basic literacy to the children of the red light areas in and along with meals. In these centers, a lot of post-traumatic therapy is conducted to help the kids rise above their painful past through various forms of art, music, and dance.
5.Advocacy Campaigns
Pushpanjalii NGOs have garnered support from the national agencies on human rights like the National Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights in the cases related to sex trafficking, child prostitution, and rape.
6.Rescue
Part of our larger, holistic approach to combating human trafficking is to rescue women and children from being trafficked for sex and labor. Over the years, Pushpanjalii NGOs have successfully rescued more than 2000 persons from the clutches of slavery.
